Can Judwaa 2 Recreate the Magic of the Iconic 1997 Salman Khan Starrer?

The trailer for Judwaa 2 gives us a glimpse of the movie which appears to be a high octane, high energy driven entertainer guaranteed to have audiences reeling. Judwaa 2 is a remake of the 1997 Salman Khan film that has inspired many comedies in Bollywood. This remake also stars actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu . Varun Dhawan will be carrying the plot of the movie on his able shoulders as he plays twins Raja and Prem who have starkly different personalities. The trailer of the movie is fast paced and a stunner with beautiful locales, outfits and some light hearted comedy in the mix. Varun Dhawan’s expressions actually makes us reminisce the iconic roles essayed by Salman Khan in the original. Superstar Salman Khan has reportedly made a cameo in this remake. It would be exciting to see what role he plays as the makers haven’t revealed it in the trailer. Judwaa 2 seems to incorporate everything right from varied and interesting antics to some roadside humour.

Bareilly Ki Barfi Trailer Is Hilarious

The trailer of Bareilly Ki Barfi is out and the response for the trailer has been overwhelmingly positive.  The trailer is hilarious and you wouldn’t be judged if you found yourself laughing hard at the many puns to be found in the trailer. The Bareilly Ki Barfi is Kriti Sanon and she is playing the role of Bitti in the new trailer. The film is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and the trailer has really great repeat value. The trailer also introduces you to Ayushmann Khurrana who is playing the role of the cunning Chirag Dubey while Rajkummar Rao will be seen playing Pritam Bidrohi who happens to be quite naive. How Bitti, Chirag and Pritam manage to become acquaintances forms the first half of the trailer and it’s every bit as entertaining as we have come to expect from our major entertainers. But, it’s the second half of the trailer where things get even more exciting. Rajkummar Rao steals the show for himself and he doesn’t even to try. So, you might be wondering, how come a

Telugu Movies That Failed to Impress us This Year

We all know how great the movies from the south of our country have been doing at the box-office nationwide and globally. Telugu movie Baahubali 2: The Conclusion broke all records and continues to do so even now after almost two months of it's release on 28th April, 2017. However, some telugu films failed to impress this year. Here is a list of telugu films that can be avoided. Winner This action-entertainer was definitely not a winner at the box-office. This Sai Dharam Tej starrer film was directed by Tollywood Director Gopichand Malineni. Last year too, the actor Sai Dharam had a unsucessful film titled Thikka. The actor has a few south Indian movies lined up - Jawaan and Nakshatram. Hopefully, with these films the actor will finally get it right. Mister Varun Tej was back on-screen after two years. His last two films Loafer and Kanche released in 2015 and did really well at the box-office but he could not create the same magic with Mister. This film was one of the mos

Partition 1947: A Retelling of a Tale That Has Been Told time And Again

The partition has always been an intriguing topic that continues to inspire debate and discussion. Every time there is an altercation with our neighboring country Pakistan, the news channels would get into some discussion that would somehow center around the partition. After all these years, this continues being a sore point of contention between two countries and owing to its popularity filmmakers continue milking this cow. So, the next logical question is what movie am I talking about? And, does the plot of the movie revolve around partition. The answer to the first question is, Partition: 1947 . Yes, that is the name of the movie. The answer to the second question can be derived from the first one but I’ll still make it clear, yes the movie’s plot is about partition. Now time for a little history. Not, the history of India but that of the movie . The movie that I’m talking about was 'Viceroy's House'. But, that was then and since they have changed the title

Emraan Hashmi is one of those actors in Bollywood that have established their mettle through their talent and outstanding performances in movies one after the other. The actor has received around three film fare nominations and is considered as one of the more established actors working in the film industry today. It wasn’t an easy start for the actor. He had his fair share of films that were panned by the critics but things took a turn for the good with his performance as a conman in Jannat. It was the year 2008 that marked a turning point with Jannat. The role of a conman donned by Hashmi was so well played that both the audiences and the critics were bowled over. Over the years he gained recognition for getting into the skin of many unconventional characters in a number of successful films. The 2017 Tamil movies that have impressed the audience so far

The people down south don’t just watch movies, but they celebrate movies. If a movie has enough dollops of emotion and entertainment, then it will surely set the cash register ringing. Seldom do critic verdict matters for the Tamil audience. The audience mainly prefers the word of mouth opinion. And when it comes to the movies in which their favourite stars are in the lead, then it’s mandate custom for them to watch it as many times as possible. But at the same time, it’s hard to impress the audience as they give a total thumbs down to the film which doesn’t have a reasonably good content. Unfortunately the tamil movie reviews for 2017 till now has not impressed the audience. The major reason behind this is that the Tamil Nadu state has gone through some major setbacks. The demise of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, striking of cyclone vardah, Jallikattu agitation, all these had an adverse affect on the Tamil film industry. Because of this, most of the filmmakers had to postpone
