You might be wondering what is so amazing about this movie’s trailer. So, first things first, the film boasts of a stellar cast. The film cast includes the likes of Tom Hanks and Emma Watson.

Telling you that the trailer of the movie is gripping would be an understatement . The trailer starts with Tom Hanks on stage as the  very charismatic Eamon Bailey. Eamon Bailey seems like the owner of the technology company, which is aptly named, Circle.

The Circle (2017)

The movie is an adaptation of the bestselling Dave Eggers' book which shares the same name. The clip in the trailer is centers around the character of Mae Holland which is played by Emma Watson. Mae Holland happens to be a new employee at the organization. The character of Holland in the trailer goes through some sort of a roller-coaster ride. In the trailer you find Mae Holland going from goes from answering questions related to her pop-culture favorites to discovering the quite nefarious side of the organization.

In a gist, you find Emma Watson happily discussing about The Beatles and her favorite video game to discovering that the company is not all that it seems to be on the surface.

So, Circle is this nefarious company because they have built for themselves a high tech camera and this camera seems to be at the heart of everything that is wrong with the organization. The trailer progresses to show us how Bailey is musing about transparency along with accountability and is showcasing the capabilities of the new device to the world,  Holland finds herself in a massive server farm which is owned by Circle. The trailer of the movie comes to a quite tense end as  we see the Circle's cameras capture scenes that are related to social unrest which includes a drone attack and all the while we witness the character of Tom Hanks telling the audiences “Knowing more is better”.

So, how the circle will be? It seems like a darn good movie, and hopefully it will change our perspectives on surveillance amongst other things. But, that remains to be seen.
