Bang Bang is about to get a sequel!

Do you remember the action comedy called Bang Bang from 2014? Well, you will be forgiven if you don’t. 2014 was a long time back and Bang Bang wasn’t the hit that the makers were hoping it would be.

For those who are having a hard time remembering the movie, the movie was directed by
directed by Siddharth Anand and was produced by the production house known as Fox Star Studios. The film was an official adaptation of the Hollywood movie called Knight and Day starring Tom Cruise. The film had Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the main roles.  Danny Denzongpa played the antagonist in the movie and that’s about it. If you wondering why am I referring to the 2014 Bang Bang movie, then the reason is simple. It’s because the movie is about to get a sequel. Yes, you heard yourself right and I don’t know why there is a sequel for the movie. But, there is a silver lining though. The sequel will be directed by Raj and D.K.
The Indian American film director-producer duo have in the past directed critics favorite like Shor in the City and Go Goa Gone which was the first zombie film in India. In Go Goa Gone, they teamed up with Saif Ali Khan and delivered horror comedy which was liked by many. They teamed up again for Happy Ending which was a rom com.
Raj & DK’s very first Hindi feature film was 99 which was a one of a kind comic-thriller which was set in the city of Mumbai and Delhi. The movie was much acclaimed and was loved by critics all over the place. The movie received four star reviews all over the place. The duo is very much capable of delivering cinema that is liked by both critics and audiences. So, it is to be assumed that we are going to get something very different with the sequel. One of the duo’s main strength is clever writing. If they can infuse their own take in the whole Bang Bang thing then it is to be assumed that some great content will be coming our way.

I’m optimistic about the new Bang Bang sequel “Gentleman”. I believe that these guys can give their own fun spin to the whole thing and make it an enthralling watch. The first look is out, but first looks don’t really tell you anything. I’ll be updating you guys about the whole thing once the trailer is out. Until then, fingers crossed.

The Best Of Emraan Hashmi Is Yet To Come

Emraan Hashmi is one of those actors in Bollywood that have established their mettle through their talent and outstanding performances in movies one after the other. The actor has received around three film fare nominations and is considered as one of the more established actors working in the film industry today. It wasn’t an easy start for the actor. He had his fair share of films that were panned by the critics but things took a turn for the good with his performance as a conman in Jannat. It was the year 2008 that marked a turning point with Jannat. The role of a conman donned by Hashmi was so well played that both the audiences and the critics were bowled over. Over the years he gained recognition for getting into the skin of many unconventional characters in a number of successful films.
