Ever since Sara Ali Khan’s debut on Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee with Karan got aired and the world came to know that Sara Ali Khan showed interest in Karthik Aryan, social media was buzzing with their pictures and memes. In the midst of all this, Imtiaz Ali, the ace director, decided to encash this and announced the sequel to one of his most successful films Love Aaj Kal. The upcoming movie also stars Randeep Hooda who was last seen in Baaghi 2. Randeep and Imtiaz Ali had last collaborated for the critically acclaimed Highway.

The 66 days schedule of Love Aaj Kal 2 is already over and the entire cast had shared heartfelt messages on social media about being a part of the iconic Love Aaj Kal franchise. The first part had Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in leading roles and the film was a benchmark by all standards. The flashback scenes and the vivid narrations gathered maximum accolades and the film has its cult following. It would be interesting to see if Love Aaj Kal 2 can live up to the audience’s expectations and nudge the same feelings as its predecessor.
The movie is primarily shot at some of the most pristine locations in Himachal Pradesh and several other locations such as Delhi, Udaipur, and Mumbai. Slated for Valentine’s day release this year, the film is in its final stages of post-production.

Karthik is already basking in the success of his previous releases Lukka Chhupi and Pati Patni Aur Woh and Sara have teamed up with the Varun Dhawan for the Coolie No. 1 franchise. Let’s see if these two can create some magic on screen together.
