According to Bollywood film critics, the releases during the year 2019 was not a particularly memorable one – barring a few movies that made it big at the box office. The big bang movies were the regular romantic boy-meets-girl and action movies that were the favorite of the movie-goers and arm chair movie audience.
This year, the crop of new Bollywood films is expected to bring back the discerning movie buffs and promises fresh story lines and interesting titles. From the promos and trailers, it seems like these new releases have raised the standards in cinematography and other parameters of movie making. This heart wrenching story is about an acid attack victim who spurned advances from a man twice her age. She slowly rebuilds her life and strives to be economically independent. Deepika Padakone excels in the role of the victim while the supporting actors have done an equally good job. The movie depicts this new malaise that is getting more and more common, especially in the rural areas where crimes against the less fortunate are growing. The movie takes us through her every day struggles and her legal battle in the supreme court.
TANHAJI – AN UNSUNG WARRIOR

Bollywood’s lovable pair Ajay Devgan and Kajol come together after more than a decade to star in this historic movie. The movie is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji’s army commander. This Bollywood film also stars Saif Ali Khan as the nemesis of Mughal commander Uday Bhan.
Other upcoming movies include Panga, Street Dancer, Malang,  Sooryavanshi, Love Aaj Kal 2, Jawaani Jaaneman and a host of other movies.

Hey all you Salman Khan fans, the wait is finally over, for Dabangg3 is set to hit the big screen on 20 December. If the buzz is to be believed, the third edition in the franchise will feature Chulbul Pandey, the swashbuckling police inspector, as a Robin Hood type character taking on the baddies of the land mafia. The plot of the Hindi movie is inspired by some real life developments in Madhya Pradesh where the film is shot.
