Jagga Jasoos: The Date Shifts From April To July

Jagga Jasoos is an upcoming hindi romantic movie which is directed by Anurag Basu and brings back the hit duo of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif back on the big screen. The movie is going to release in July now and was previously slated to release on 14th April. This has definitely saddened the fans and the excitement has upped much for this much anticipated movie of the year. In this movie, Ranbir’s world has tigers, elephants and, not to forget, ostriches, which both the actors use as the mode of transport during a particular scene which makes it more interesting.

The trailer is way too good and surprises us by introducing everyone to Ranbir’s life, which makes us believe that he is not different as once he was close to his father and he remembers the time when his father walked away. This latest trailer also takes the audience on a breathtaking journey across lush green hill tops, widespread corn fields, to the African savannas and military base camps. Katrina's character joins Jagga on his quest, but the short video gives us very little to reason with. One more good thing about the movie will be the laughter packed Saurabh Shukla who adds humour to the journey of Jagga Jasoos.

The previous film of the duo of Anurag and Ranbir, Barfi, besides the talking to the camera narrative, was its amazing and breathtaking music, given by Pritam. The title song, 'Aashiyan', 'Kyun', 'Phir Le Aaya Dil', 'Kya Karun' were all not only instant hits but also carried forward the narrative effectively and creatively. Whereas, this upcoming hindi movie has got 29 songs to be precise which will be a record for the maximum number of tracks in a single movie album and the best of Pritam till date.

This upcoming bollywood movie is expected to be the next hit of Ranbir Kapoor after Barfi, even though Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was good enough opposite Anushka Sharma and the beauty queen of India, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, but still couldn’t do that big on the big screen in terms of numbers. Interestingly, the movie is equally important for Katrina as she has given two flops back to back. If we go by the short glimpse we have got at the movie and the posters, we can assure you that this ride is going to make you laugh, give you goosebumps, make you cry and give you a thrill.

The Best Of Emraan Hashmi Is Yet To Come

Emraan Hashmi is one of those actors in Bollywood that have established their mettle through their talent and outstanding performances in movies one after the other. The actor has received around three film fare nominations and is considered as one of the more established actors working in the film industry today. It wasn’t an easy start for the actor. He had his fair share of films that were panned by the critics but things took a turn for the good with his performance as a conman in Jannat. It was the year 2008 that marked a turning point with Jannat. The role of a conman donned by Hashmi was so well played that both the audiences and the critics were bowled over. Over the years he gained recognition for getting into the skin of many unconventional characters in a number of successful films. Some of these films included including the horror Raaz: The Mystery Continues which was released in the year 2009, the biographical drama The Dirty Picture which came out in 2011,...

Movies that changed the world

At times, cinema can be both a mirror to the society and a thought-provoking tool. These are some movies which changed the way society thinks drastically. A Girl in the River Directed by Oscar-winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, this movie depicted the reality of today’s world and how honour killing is a severe issue in the society of Pakistan. This movie led the Pakistani government to review its laws regarding honour killing. Blackfish This documentary showed how the Orcas are kept in harsh captivity and how it is harmful to their habitat, and this brought a massive change of the Shamu attractions being completely shut down by SeaWorld. The Day After Tomorrow This blockbuster movie had such an accurate description of climate change that it left an impactful print in the minds of governments worldwide which made them work towards climate change countermeasures. Cathy Come Home Director Ken Loach brought the issue of homelessness in the spotlight, which was not acknowledg...

Jayeshbhai Jordaar film Review: Ranveer Singh goes clearly in an ungainly mashup of different issues

Just before Jayeshbhai acquaints his relatives with us, he draws a somewhat senseless relationship between researchers needing to be aware of Mars and his folks needing to be aware of the orientation of his kid. What's normal between a planet a lady's womb? Indeed, they're both round (gol) in shape. Some Gujju humor to fix the tone and assumptions. Chief Divyang Thakkar gives the disclaimer in the primary scene itself that 'pre-natal sex assurance test is a culpable offense'. Furthermore, the whole reason of   Jayeshbhai Jordaar   is revolved around this. At times a star sparkles most splendid in a characterless film. Ranveer Singh is jordaar and all the more yet even with all his appeal and sincere exertion Jayeshbhai Jordaar is significantly "bore-daar". Unfortunately, honest goals alone rarely make extraordinary movies! The requirement for a male successor is driving Jayeshbhai and his family insane. The pregnant bahu Mudra Ben (Shalini Pandey) is lyi...
